Proposal Writer

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and tenders to understand requirements and align responses accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales, solution architects, delivery, and subject matter experts to gather content and position value propositions.
• Write, edit, and format responses in clear, concise, and persuasive language tailored to client needs.
• Ensure consistency in branding, compliance, and structure across all proposal documents.
• Maintain and update proposal content repositories, case studies, and reusable assets.
• Work with design/graphics teams to develop visually appealing and professional submissions.
• Manage timelines, coordinate inputs, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality proposals.
• Support continuous improvement in bid/proposal processes and contribute to knowledge management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or presales content development.
• Strong command of written English with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and business writing style.
• Familiarity with IT/Cloud/Software/Consulting industry terminology is preferred.
• Ability to translate technical information into business-friendly, persuasive language.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of Adobe InDesign or similar tools is a plus.
