Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud App migration, Lift, and Shift Migration Automation, EC2 migrations, EKS Migration, On-prem storage to EBS, S3 and EFS. The ideal candidate will lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless transitions. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute migrations of on-prem applications using AWS MGN Strong understanding of AWS VM migrations using 7Rs Strategy Fundamental understanding of EC2, ASG, EBS, EFS, ALB Design and implement automated application migrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues. Application migration experience especially monolithic and microservices webapps Qualifications: 3+ years of AWS cloud experience. Proficiency in AWS Cloud compute (EC2, EKS) and Storage (s3, EBS and EFS). Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and migration tools. AWS & Terraform certification preferred. Having knowledge of AWS DMS, RDS (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, MySql) is an advantage
