Job Title: Proposal Writer – U.S. Public Sector

CogniAI delivers innovative solutions to U.S. government agencies. We are hiring experienced Proposal Writers to craft compelling, compliant, and high-quality proposals for federal, state, and local government contracts, including GWACs and IDIQs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead proposal development for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Write persuasive, tailored content in collaboration with SMEs.
• Develop proposals for GWACs/IDIQs (GSA Alliant 2, OASIS, MAS, CIO-SP3, NASA SEWP).
• Conduct research on procurement opportunities and agency requirements.
• Manage end-to-end proposal lifecycle (scheduling, reviews, submission).
• Maintain templates, past performance docs, and reusable content.
• Implement best practices to continuously improve proposal quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 2+ years of proposal writing experience for U.S. government contracts.
• Proven expertise in GWAC/IDIQ proposals.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, compliance, and regulations.
• Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and proposal management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Preferred: APMP certification, industry knowledge (IT, healthcare, defense), CRM/proposal tools experience.
