Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Automotive Software Project Manager to lead and manage Model-Based Design (MBD) application software development projects.
The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of software development processes and best practices, and will be responsible for overseeing project progress, identifying risks, planning mitigations, and ensuring timely delivery within budget. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent communication skills to drive high performance and clarity in complex and ambiguous environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end MBD application software development projects.

Review and monitor progress of MBD software development activities.

Evaluate project situations, foresee risks, and plan effective mitigation strategies.

Derive and manage project budgets, deadlines, and milestones.

Motivate and lead teams to achieve high performance and deliverables.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments.

Ensure adherence to software development processes and industry best practices.

Communicate clearly and effectively, especially in ambiguous or complex situations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience in managing software development projects, preferably in the automotive domain.

Strong understanding of Model-Based Design (MBD) and embedded software development.

Excellent project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively across teams and functions.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
