Job Description: Project Support Officer (PSO)

We are seeking a dynamic Project Support Officer (PSO) to join our Project Management Officer (PMO) Excellence Team. This role will be based at the customer location in Bangalore, with a focus on enhancing and implementing project management methods, tools, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to PMO and key stakeholders.
• Analyze project data, cost reports, and time tracking information to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various global locations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and tools.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience with various tools such as Planisware, Qlik Sense, Windchill, data spreadsheets, word processing software, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• Proficient in data analysis, creating dashboards, summarizing information, and using pivot tables with spreadsheets
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data.
• Experience in project management or project support roles, ideally focusing on cost planning, budgeting, or time tracking.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced functions) and other data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Advantageous to have experience in project cost planning, budgeting, and time recording processes.
• Added advantage: Working with financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.

As a PSO, you will play a crucial role in optimizing project planning and execution by working closely with stakeholders at both local and global levels within the organization.
