Project Specialist

Job Title- Project Executive – Retail

Location- Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end execution of retail projects including new store openings, renovations, store expansions or relocation.
• Plan, track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets; ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams: design, operations, procurement, logistics, facilities, vendors / contractors etc.
• Conduct site surveys; ensure store layout, interiors & fixtures meet brand standards; ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships: select, negotiate, monitor vendor performance and ensure quality of work.
• Monitor progress on site; raise and resolve issues or delays proactively.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation: project plans, status reports, budgets, approvals, contracts.
• Assist in handover to operations: ensure smooth transition of completed stores to store operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to brand design guidelines, finishes, fixtures, visual merchandising and customer experience benchmarks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design / Project Management or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in retail project execution / store development / store projects / fit-outs etc.
• Strong understanding of site execution, fixtures, interior finishes, store layouts.
• Good vendor / contractor management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organisational & time management skills.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello etc.), MS Office; AutoCAD or similar a plus.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and inspections.
