Job Overview:

We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Project Sales Engineer for our Kolkata location. The candidate should have a strong background in industrial/project sales, with at least 4 years of experience. The role involves extensive travel across Eastern Zone states and neighboring countries to generate inquiries, support project sales, and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate inquiries for projects within the capital goods, automation, air piping, and compressor industries.
  • Develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with potential clients in the assigned region.

Client Engagement

  • Meet with clients to understand their project needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Provide technical consultation and present the benefits of our products and services.

Preparation of Offers

  • Prepare and submit quotations/commercial offers to clients.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accuracy in pricing and project feasibility.

Travel & Site Visits

  • Plan and conduct frequent visits across Odisha, Bihar, North Eastern States, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
  • Perform client meetings, site inspections, and project discussions to ensure business growth.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the project and technical teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain sales records, leads, and project updates in the CRM.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • BE Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of project sales or industrial equipment sales experience.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and suggest solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and willing to travel extensively.

Personal Traits:

  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with teams.
  • Energetic, adaptable, and customer-focused.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
