Project Reservoir Engineer Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct reservoir simulations to predict future production potential and optimize recovery strategies
• Design, implement, and monitor well tests to gather data on reservoir properties
• Analyze geological and engineering data to develop reservoir models
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals for reservoir development
• Evaluate the economic viability of drilling projects and recommend appropriate actions
• Collaborate with geologists, drilling engineers, and production teams to optimize well placement and design
• Monitor and predict reservoir performance using advanced modeling techniques
• Recommend enhanced oil recovery methods and other innovative extraction techniques
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
