Role & responsibilities - Responsible for the development and/or deployment of existing and new technology and workflows to solve key business challenges • The job involves integration of geological, petrophysical, geophysical and engineering data to create reservoir models used for resource evaluation and production forecasting. • Provides support to the Digital Platform, and is responsible for running, maintaining, supporting users and improving the Geology suite of Petrel-plugins. • Contributes to the development of new Geological plug-ins in Petrel (e.g. coding in Ocean, development of user interfaces and algorithms). • Targeted user-experience and data management development (e.g., GUI, Power-BI, data engineering, Machine Learning engineering, and mature digital minimum viable products) • Teaming with US-based R&D groups focusing on developing and deploying reservoir modeling and geology products and workflows. • Application testing, pipeline, build and release in cloud platform. • Development of technical digital solutions and training documentation. Mandatory skills required- Reservoir Simulation Coding (Intersect Simulator) Optimization. Cloud experience 4. Experience with C, C#, C++, Python, Data Science or Machine learning

Develop, test, and deploy advanced reservoir simulation tools and workflows. Conduct engineering studies for field optimization using software like Petrel, INTERSECT, and cloud-native platforms. What you will do Lead / collaborate with engineers on global teams to analyze field performance and advise on improving recovery Integrate with adjacent disciplines – Wells & Geoscience teams to implement development plans Monitor reservoir data and provide insights and recommendations based on analysis Perform reservoir simulations, including model initialization, history match, and forecast Generate flow streams through use of material balance / analogs / simulation Generate plots and reports to communicate field performance Analyze field data to establish trends, recognize deviations, and identify data quality issues Build/sustain proprietary reservoir engineering technology Drive team engagement with technical experts to generate insights based on analysis of data, analytical, & numerical models About You Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university in petroleum /chemical/ mechanical/other relevant engineering disciplines. Knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts including: Depletion planning and resource migration for primary, secondary, and enhanced recovery mechanisms Reservoir simulation and history matching Analytical performance prediction (decline curve analysis, material balance calculations) Pressure transient analysis Carbon storage knowledge will be an advantage Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of reservoir management Strong fundamental understanding /experiences in fluid mechanics, porous media flow, computational fluid dynamics Experience in reservoir surveillance & analysis, strong analytical skills Hands on experience with proprietary or vendor engineering analysis tools within the experience domain Experience in data science, machine learning will be an advantage Mentorship and team leadership experience will be an advantage Preferred Qualifications / Experience Relevant Reservoir Engineering experience of 3+ years. Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM, Kappa Ecrin (Saphir), Eclipse, Petrel RE, Intersect, and CMG Experience in one or more programming languages such as MATLAB/C/Python Experience in computational and/or data science (e.g., machine learning, optimization)

Have specific expertise in the use of industry standard software including but not limited to CMG suite, Eclipse, tNav, Petrel, Petex suite, Kappa. Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design innovative workflows for solving complex problems. Managing multiple projects. Database Management Present data, interpretations and reports management Assisting other disciplines viz., Drilling, Production facilities teams with inputs Collaborating with other technical professionals in multi-disciplinary projects like Field Development Studies. Providing technical input to business development activities. Demonstrating compliance to company policies, for the entire team, including HSE compliance Reserves estimation and Reserves Reporting Exposure to Drilling and production operations will be added advantage Requirements Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university or college Relevant experience of 15 yrs in Reservoir Engineering in a wide variety of reservoir types. Be able to demonstrate proficiency in petroleum engineering in both production technology and reservoir engineering. Must be keen to learn new technologies and workflows in reservoir engineering. Have good interpersonal and leadership skills. Have effective problem identification and solution skills. Have proven ability to work in integrated subsurface teams. Be self-motivated and can operate with minimal supervision.
