Project Purchasing Manager

General Information

• Plant Purchasing is responsible for Purchasing activities during series production to ensure a smooth operation of our production facilities.
• Plant Purchasing / SQM has the responsibility for technical change management, covering all mechanical Categories, all BU-specific Categories and all electromechanics Categories.
• The maintenance of SAP data (e.g. Purchasing Info Record) in the local SAP systems will be done by Plant Purchasing for all mechanical Categories, all BU-specific Categories, and most electromechanics Categories.
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Order supplier tooling
• Data maintenance - Supplier Tooling
• Supplier Claim Negotiation >=2,500 € and
• Check plausibility
• Agree on reimbursement
• Check the completeness of SAP
• Insert Purchasing data in SAP (for mechanics, other electromechanics and BU-specific Categories)
• Enter new tooling in system
• Update tooling data
• Annual stock taking
• React on early warning
• ECR: Engineering Change Request
• Send RFQ, analyze offer for ECR
• Evaluate costs
• Order tooling and samples.
• Support Localization/ VAVE (DTC) Activities.
• Support CAT and Project PUR in Budget activities.
• Actively influences the sourcing process during the development phase.
• Drives improvement programs with suppliers covering material cost, supplier component quality, component timing and technical feasibility through supplier
  

Your Qualification

• BE - Mechanical / Electronics
• Experience: 8:10 Years in Auto Industry
• Automotive OE, T1, & T2
