Position Title: Planning Engineer

Job Location: Thane – Mumbai

A leading EPC Group based in Central Africa.

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil / Mechanical / related discipline).

·       7–10 years of proven experience in Project Planning.

·       Strong expertise in MS Project and/or Primavera.

·       1. Project Planning & Scheduling

·       Prepare detailed planning packages for tenders and ongoing projects.

·       Develop and maintain Project Baseline Schedules, Progress Measurement Systems, S-curves, and resource histograms (manpower & equipment).

·       Support the Accounts team in preparing cash flow statements.

·       2. Progress Monitoring & Control

·       Update project schedules and progress measurement systems regularly.

·       Monitor resource deployment and manpower forecasts to ensure optimal utilization.

·       Identify deviations from baseline and recommend corrective actions.

·       3. Stakeholder Coordination

·       Coordinate with Project / Construction Managers and other stakeholders for timely project completion.

·       Facilitate weekly progress review and coordination meetings.

·       Follow up on action items with project team members.

·       4. Risk & Delay Management

·       Record, analyze, and highlight delays impacting project progress.

·       Support in developing recovery plans to mitigate schedule slippages.

·       Ensure risks are flagged and corrective actions are implemented promptly.

·       Strong knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera).

·       Proficiency in project scheduling, cost control, and resource forecasting.

·       Excellent coordination and communication skills.

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
