Project Planner & Scheduler-Project Planning Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) Document Position: Project Planner & Scheduler -Project Planning Reporting To: Head -Projects Location: Candidate will be placed in Mumbai Company: Hindustan Waste Treatment Pvt. Ltd. (Subsidiary of SFC Environmental Technologies Ltd.)

Role Overview The Incumbent is responsible for developing Project Plan and Detailed Schedules for EPC projects in Municipal Solid Waste Sector and updating /monitoring the schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. The role ensures that project activities are logically sequenced, properly resourced, and aligned with contractual milestones for timely completion . The planner also provides critical analysis, progress tracking, early warnings, and mitigation recommendations to support successful project delivery.



Key Result Areas (KRAs) A. Planning & Scheduling Develop detailed project schedules in Primavera P6/MS Project covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and commissioning. Prepare Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and detailed Level 4 schedules as per project requirements. Define WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), activity coding, calendars, and resource loading. Create baseline schedules ,track deviations and prepare Catch-up Schedules Prepare Monthly /Quarterly Look Ahead Schedules B. Progress Monitoring & Reporting Monitor weekly and monthly progress, update schedules with actuals. Prepare S-curves ,Progress Statistics individually for Engineering, Procurement ,Construction/Erection and for Overall Project, manpower histograms, progress Graphs


KPIs. Identify schedule slippage and provide critical path & near-critical path analysis. Report variances and recommend recovery plans. Integrate Cost with Schedule to support Project Cost Control functions C. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to gather progress updates. Drive internal planning meetings and progress review workshops. Interface with clients for schedule submissions, clarifications, and approvals. D. Risk & Delay Analysis Identify schedule related risks and prepare mitigation plans. Conduct delay analysis (TIA, As-Built vs As-Planned, impacted schedule etc.).


Support claims preparation and Extension-of-Time (EoT) documentation. Understand Scope Changes and bring out its impact on planned schedule E. Documentation & Compliance Maintain schedule files, logs, progress records, and baselines. Ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations/milestones, and company procedures. Prepare monthly project control reports. Document /Capture Lessons Learnt

Timely identification of delays and corrective actions Close coordination with Engineering, Procurement and Construction Prompts and its effect on Overall Schedule Teams and up-dation and Monitoring 3. Client satisfaction with planning deliverables -Quality /Nature of Client comments on Base schedule and Monthly updates - Monthly Progress Report 4.Quality of Document for Study of Contract Doc and Acceptance rate of our Claims Claims preparation andIdentifying Client Obligation and Client Delays/External Factors EoT Documents Academic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil /Mechanical /Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Post Graduation in Construction Management/Project Management(preferred) Primavera P6/MSP Certification(required) PMP Certification Recognised by PMI (Preferred)


Skills & Competencies Required 10 to 15 years experience in Project Planning in EPC Projects in WATER/Oil &Gas/Power Plant/Infrastructure Projects Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera and equivalent project management software. Strong knowledge of project planning,& Scheduling . Proven experience in Planning medium to large scale EPC projects from start to finish. Effective coordinating with Internal /External stake holders in Engineering ,Procurement ,Construction and Commissioning for flawless planning and monitoring of Project Progress for timely completion. Enabling the Project Team to deliver Projects on time, within scope and budget. To capture changes in project scope affecting schedule &cost and quantify . Support Project team in Claims and EoT documentation Travel to Client /Consultant /Project sites across India for meetings/Approvals Reporting Structure & Collaboration
