Role & responsibilities

Responsible for leading end-to-end project execution (greenfield, brownfield, capacity expansion, modernization) and overseeing engineering operations across spices processing plants. This role ensures timely delivery of projects within cost, quality, safety, and compliance requirements, while ensuring engineering reliability and continuous improvement.

• Project Management (Greenfield & Brownfield)

• Engineering Design & Technical Assessment

• Review and approve plant layouts, equipment specifications, P&IDs, utility load calculations, and engineering drawings.
  
• Drive process flow design for spices cleaning, roasting, grinding, blending, sterilization, extrusion, and packaging units.
  
• Evaluate equipment technology, automation upgrades, and process optimization opportunities.
• Project Execution & Site Supervision

• Oversee site construction, civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, structural, and utility installation activities.
  
• Ensure equipment erection, commissioning, and performance trials as per approved protocols.
  
• Manage contractors, consultants, and OEM service partners for timely execution.
  
• Drive site readiness, safety compliance, and permitting.
  

Preferred candidate profile

20 - 25 years

• Strong understanding of process equipment:
  grinders, pulverizers, sterilizers, roasters, blenders, conveyors, pneumatic systems, extrusion, automated packaging.
• Expertise in utility systems: boilers, chillers, air compressors, water systems, dust collectors, electricals.
  
• Project management tools (MS Project / Primavera).
  
• AutoCAD / SolidWorks understanding preferred.
  
• SAP/ERP-based engineering management.
