As a Project Manager - MEP Engineer for Commercial Projects at KVAT & Co, you will be responsible for leading a team in CAPEX Infrastructure Audit Projects with a focus on Quality Validation, Cost Optimization, Interim/ Finishing Checks, and Detailed Reporting. Your role will involve conducting interim site visits, finishing stage validation, billing validation & BOQ reconciliation, detailed snag reporting with evidence, PMC coordination & technical oversight, project site validation & technical oversight, billing, BOQ reconciliation & financial controls, snag identification, reporting & resolution, stakeholder coordination & project planning, on-site auditing & compliance monitoring, report preparation, documentation & MIS, process improvement, risk mitigation & cost optimization, and additional responsibilities. In summary, your key responsibilities include: - Conducting interim site visits and in-progress validation - Reviewing and validating finishing activities - Reconciling contractor bills with approved BOQs - Leading snag audits with comprehensive reports - Coordinating with PMC for seamless execution - Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards - Maintaining transparent billing processes - Providing recommendations for swift snag closure - Coordinating with internal teams, network partners, and clients - Leading or participating in site audits to assess compliance - Preparing audit reports, Excel trackers, PowerPoint presentations, and more - Identifying non-conformance issues and recommending preventive strategies - Detecting potential cost leakages and advising on cost optimization - Participating in high-level client meetings and strategic engagement The ideal candidate for this role should have a B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a specialization in MEP, at least 6+ years of experience in MEP works, expertise in MEP design & execution standards, knowledge of BOQs, billing reconciliation & cost control, proficiency in snag reporting using digital tools, and excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
