Project Manager

An Electrical Engineer Project Manager overseeing HT/LT cables and panels manages electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and timeline objectives by coordinating teams, vendors, and subcontractors for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Key responsibilities include reviewing designs, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring progress through reports, managing client and stakeholder communication, and conducting final system acceptance tests and commissioning. Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scope Definition:Determine project scope, define objectives, and develop detailed specifications based on client requirements and technical studies.
• Design & Technical Oversight:Review and approve electrical designs, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for HT/LT panels and associated components.
• Installation & Commissioning:Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT cables, panels, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Management:Manage and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and installation of electrical systems.
• Budget & Schedule Management:Monitor project progress, budget adherence, and track delivery dates to ensure on-time completion.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure all electrical work complies with international codes, local regulations, client specifications, and internal quality standards.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication:Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and other internal departments, providing regular progress updates and reports.
• Safety & Risk Management:Implement and monitor safety procedures and standards throughout the project lifecycle, managing risks associated with high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Reporting:Generate progress reports, management information systems (MIS), and other documentation to track project performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, cables, switchgear, motors, and transformers.
• Project Management Skills:Proficiency in end-to-end project management, from initiation and planning to execution and closure.
• Leadership & Communication:Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Design & Installation Experience:Experience in overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in industrial or construction environments.
• Software & Tools:Familiarity with tools used for LT, HT, and ELV electrical works and the ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Safety & Compliance:Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹379,698.54 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
