Job Title: Project Manager – Integrated Urban Slum Development Programme Location : Vishakapatnam Slum & Etikoppa village of Anakapalli District Reports to : Project Director/Senior Manager Duration : 12 Months, Renewable Based on Performance Type : Full-time The Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the Integrated Urban Slum Development Programme. The programme aims to improve living conditions in urban slums through a holistic approach including Health, Education, Livelihood, youth development and Art & culture housing, The Project Manager will coordinate multi-stakeholder efforts, engage communities, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of project outputs and outcomes. · Liaise with donor, local government bodies, urban local bodies (ULBs) CBOs, and community leaders. · Facilitate community participation and promote inclusive decision-making processes. · Represent the programme at stakeholder meetings and forums. · Develop detailed implementation plans in line with project objectives and timelines. · Establish monitoring systems and track project progress using appropriate indicators. · Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for donors, government, and internal stakeholders. · Identify risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies. · Ensure compliance with donor and government. · Lead field team. · Facilitate training and capacity-building sessions for staff and community-based organizations. · Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. · Develop marketing strategies and innovations for wooden laquer. · Attend different fairs and markets to open the marketing avenues. · Develop youth on sports and participate at different State and National competitions. Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in any disciplinary. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in managing rural and urban development programmes basically on health, education, youth empowerment, art & culture. Proven experience in project management, stakeholder coordination, and community engagement. Familiarity with various government schemes meant for the development of vulnerable communities & monitories. Skills and Competencies: Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including government, donors, and marginalized communities. Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and MIS platforms. Fluency in Telugu, English or Hindi. Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and qualifications, as per organizational norms.
