Job Title: Project Manager – Lighting Automation & Electrical Works

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of lighting automation and electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and lighting automation, with expertise in managing complex projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation, specific to lighting automation and electrical systems.

Coordinate and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of lighting automation systems (smart lighting, control systems, energy-efficient solutions) and Ensure project schedules are met while maintaining the quality and safety of electrical and automation systems.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead and guide cross-functional project teams (electrical engineers, lighting designers, contractors) in delivering electrical and lighting automation projects.

Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and the internal team to ensure clear communication and collaboration.

Ensure teams are well-supported, motivated, and working efficiently toward common project goals.

Budget & Resource Management:

Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and adherence to financial constraints.

Oversee procurement and management of materials and resources for electrical and lighting automation systems.

Ensure resource allocation is optimized for each phase of the project.

Risk Management & Problem Resolution:

Identify and proactively address potential risks and challenges related to electrical installations and lighting automation systems.

Resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact to timelines and deliverables.

Adjust project plans as needed, ensuring project continuity while adhering to deadlines and client specifications.

Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance:

Ensure all electrical and lighting automation work meets the highest industry standards, regulatory codes, and client specifications.

Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project phases, ensuring all installations and systems perform as intended.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including electrical codes and standards, during the design, installation, and commissioning phases.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are clearly defined and met.

Communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones regularly to stakeholders and clients.

Address client concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Project Reporting & Documentation:

Provide regular project status updates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, including budget, timelines, and risk assessments.

Maintain and update comprehensive project documentation, including designs, schedules, reports, and as-built drawings.

Prepare post-project reviews, capturing lessons learned and contributing to future project improvement initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, resource utilization, and overall project delivery efficiency.

Implement innovative solutions in lighting automation and electrical systems to meet evolving client needs and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing electrical and lighting automation projects.

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, lighting control technologies, automation systems, and smart building solutions.

Proven experience in managing complex electrical and lighting automation installations, from planning to execution.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Trello, etc.) and AutoCAD (or similar design tools) is a plus.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with advanced lighting control systems (e.g., KNX, DALI, Lutron, Crestron).

Experience in sustainable lighting solutions, energy-efficient technologies, and green building practices.

Knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and integration with lighting and electrical systems.

Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and codes.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
