Electrical Technician (Lighting Control)

As an Electrician at our company, your role involves performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, motors, panels, and wiring. You will be responsible for diagnosing malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using test instruments, as well as carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Your duties will also include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals, ensuring compliance with safety codes, regulations, and standards, and testing electrical systems using tools like multimeters and megger testers. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. - Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components. - Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. - Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals. - Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and standards. - Test electrical systems using tools such as multimeters, megger testers. - Support new equipment installations and commissioning activities. - Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance logs. - Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians. - Follow company safety policies and contribute to creating a safe work environment. Qualifications Required: - Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering. - Proven experience in electrical system maintenance and repair. - Strong knowledge of safety codes and regulations. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
