The Project Manager Responsible for end-to-end project management activities for designated projects, ensuring delivery as per Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets. This role involves leading the cross-functional teams (CFT) and reporting to management on the goals, status, and achievements of projects from various business units (BUs) within Johnosn Electric.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Prepare business case for new RFQs received from sales team.
• Make detailed timing plan and track / update them regularly.
• Prepare CAR file, upload in system and get timely approval from Management.
• Ensure PRs are raised, and Pos released for necessary tools, assembly lines, Inspection instruments and gauges on time for SOP.
• Ensure availability of sufficient capacity for designated Projects including child parts.
• Ensure SER is completed on time for SOP.
• Ensure availability of sufficient child parts stock for SOP.
• Complete Phase reviews as per JEPDS.
• Responsible for Project P&L during safe launch (6 Months).
• Responsible for Obsolescence cost in ramp down projects.
• Clear Communication with Customer as and when required.
• Conduct CFT reviews periodically.
• Keep all the relevant stakeholders informed on Project progress periodically.
• Ensure timely escalations are done for solving the Problems.

Our requirements:

• Required Engineering Graduate – Mechanical preferably with PMP certifications and hands on experience in automotive industry.
• Minimum 13~15 years work experience in Project Management / NPD with automotive Tier 1 industry.
• Result oriented Team Member with Excellent scalability and interpersonal skills
• Well verse in Project planning and Risk Management.
• Deep Market and Customer understanding
• Deep Technical understanding of design concepts and product functions
• International Exposure from Indian Background would be helpful.
• Injection tooling definition and precise plastic moulding parts definition skills are highly appreciated.
