Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team comprising Project Engineers, Site Engineers/Supervisors, and Safety Engineers. Key responsibilities include developing and meticulously tracking project schedules through to successful handover, as well as establishing project cost control centers to monitor expenditures related to equipment, materials, labor, subcontracts, and miscellaneous items.   This role also involves effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities; developing comprehensive Project Plans, Construction Drawings, Coordination Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and Construction Schedules; and overseeing project execution in strict accordance with designs and drawings, ensuring both optimization and full contract compliance. Addressing queries from the site team and proactively preparing and projecting requirements for materials, manpower, and other necessary resources for the timely and safe completion of services and activities are crucial aspects of this position.   The Project Manager will actively participate in Kick-off Meetings, Project Meetings, and various discussions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with positive cash flow. Regular job site inspections will be conducted to ensure contract compliance, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety protocols. Furthermore, ensuring the quality of work aligns with HVAC Standards (ISHRAE / ASHRAE) and achieving Monthly Billing & Collection Targets are essential.   Responsibilities also include negotiating and finalizing agreements with Labour Contractors and managing these relationships until project completion. The Project Manager will coordinate closely with the Design, Purchase, and Commercial teams to facilitate smooth project execution and maintain strong communication with consultants to obtain approvals on shop drawings, TDS, and variation statements. Effective coordination with all agencies on-site, as well as with the Client, Consultants, PMCs, and Architects, is paramount.   Efficiently mobilizing available resources to ensure timely project completion and planning manpower based on workload are key duties. The role also requires ensuring and implementing safe work practices across all Project Sites, guaranteeing timely billing as per contractual terms, diligent payment collection, and consistent follow-ups for bill certifications. A focus on overall Customer Satisfaction, continuously working to improve the customer satisfaction index, and obtaining Customer Satisfaction and appreciation letters from clients are vital. Finally, developing strong business relations with Clients, Architects, PMCs, and Consultants is an important aspect of this role.
