Job Description Design Engineer: The Design Engineer will be responsible for performing Heat load Calculations based on Drawings and Site Conditions, adhering to ASHRAE/ISHRAE Standards, and promptly raising/suggesting concerns or changes with the Design team and Client. Coordination with various companies and agencies involved in a project is essential for its successful completion. This role includes managing load calculations, equipment selection, and the implementation of different systems according to client requirements, as well as verifying tender documents and drawings in relation to HVAC technical aspects. The preparation of Shop Drawings, SLD, and Schematics in AutoCAD, along with Technical Submittals, in coordination with the Client, Architect, PMC, and Consultants for DX Systems, VRF Systems, Chillers, Ventilation systems, etc., is a key responsibility. This encompasses calculations for ESP, fan selections, chilled water/condenser water pipe sizing, head calculations, pump selections, AHU/FCU/Heat Exchanger/Cooling Tower selection, valve selection, ADP selection, electrical load calculations, SLD preparation, and electrical load summary preparation. Obtaining approval for Shop Drawings and Technical Submittals in collaboration with the Client, Architect, PMC, and Consultants is also a critical task. The Design Engineer will be responsible for taking out quantities and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all materials involved in the project based on shop drawings and site conditions. Preparing Bar Charts and Schedules aligned with the agreed project completion timeframe, in coordination with the Client, Architect, PMC, and Consultants, is another key duty. Service and Maintenance: Addressing service-related complaints for various HVAC equipment, including Air Cooled/Water Cooled Ductable & Packaged units, Hi-wall Split Units, VRF/VRV Systems, all types of Chillers, AHUs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Fans, and Air Washers, both within and outside Pune. Performing scheduled preventive maintenance for the aforementioned HVAC equipment in Pune and other locations. Installation and Commissioning: Installing Hi-wall Split units, Ductable systems, VRF, and other HVAC equipment as required. Conducting testing and commissioning of HVAC equipment, including taking performance readings in accordance with standard practices or client/consultant requirements.
