Job Description

Overall Objectives of Job The Technical Project Manager / Solution Architect is responsible for leading and executing SharePoint projects that drive business transformation and improve organizational efficiency. This role combines strategic project management with technical expertise to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions. The individual will ensure that projects are aligned with business goals, leveraging SharePoints capabilities to optimize workflows, enhance collaboration, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. As a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, the Technical PM will ensure seamless communication, manage expectations, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder requirements. The role also involves architecting robust and scalable SharePoint solutions that integrate with existing systems, utilizing Power Platform tools to automate processes and provide actionable insights through data visualization. The Technical PM will foster a collaborative environment, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery and solution architecture. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage SharePoint projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Serve as the solution architect for SharePoint projects, designing and implementing technical solutions. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Utilize Power Apps (Canvas App, SharePoint forms) and Power Automate to create and automate business processes. Integrate Dataverse and Power BI for data management and reporting solutions. Use JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration. Facilitate effective stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in SharePoint development and project management. Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills Must Have: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or related field. 6-8 years of experience in SharePoint development and project management. Strong domain expertise in SharePoint, with experience as a solution architect. Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas App, SharePoint forms) and Power Automate, with a minimum skill level of 4/5. Experience with Dataverse and Power BI, with a minimum skill level of 3/5. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence, with a minimum skill level of 3/5. Project planning skills with a minimum skill level of 4/5. Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a minimum skill level of 5/5. Good to Have: Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 integration. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud services. Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or SharePoint. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Key Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
