Project Manager

As an experienced project manager with a passion for shipbuilding, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of aluminium vessels. Your expertise will be crucial in managing shipbuilding projects from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and quality standards. In this role, you will lead prestigious projects in Goa and Mumbai, while managing a team and making a significant impact in the industry. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the entire shipbuilding process, from design to final delivery. - Developing project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. - Ensuring adherence to technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. - Monitoring day-to-day shipbuilding activities and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. - Conducting regular on-site inspections and audits to track project progress. - Providing reports on project status, budgets, and potential risks to senior management. - Ensuring all aspects of the vessel construction meet industry and classification society standards. - Overseeing the final delivery process, including sea trials and vessel commissioning. - Ensuring all certifications and compliance documents are in place before handover. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. - Minimum 10 years of experience in shipbuilding project management. - Strong knowledge of shipbuilding standards and classification society regulations. - Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills. - Willingness to travel as required. - Preference for experience in aluminium builds.
