PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedules and execution plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Allocate resources and manpower.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and fabrication teams.
• Act as the point of contact between clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular project meetings and updates.
• Maintain effective communication across all stakeholders.

3. Execution & Monitoring

• Monitor construction progress against plans and schedules.
• Ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with standards.
• Oversee site safety, environmental compliance, and statutory regulations.

4. Procurement & Material Management

• Coordinate procurement of steel structures, fasteners, roofing sheets, etc.
• Track delivery schedules and inventory.
• Address material shortages or fabrication issues.

5. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Manage project budgets and control costs.
• Approve contractor/supplier bills and variations.
• Track and report on financial performance.

6. Quality Assurance

• Ensure all work is executed per applicable codes (e.g., IS, AISC, MBMA).
• Conduct inspections at various project stages.
• Liaise with QA/QC teams for testing and approvals.

7. Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor team performance and productivity.
• Ensure proper delegation and accountability.

8. Project Handover

• Ensure final testing, commissioning, and snag-list clearance.
• Prepare documentation for client handover.
• Ensure client satisfaction and project close-out.

9 Technical Knowledge Required

• Understanding of steel structures and PEB components (columns, rafters, purlins, sheeting, etc.)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Tekla, Stead Pro, MS Project/Primavera.
• Knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of fabrication, welding, and erection processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
