Job Description

You will be responsible for managing and leading project management staff, ensuring that each member is assigned roles and responsibilities according to their expertise and experience. It will be your duty to make sure that the team is well-informed about the project execution plan and adheres to project requirements, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will supervise individual employees and/or subordinate supervisors. As a leader, you will act as the single point of contact for the client and mentor the team to ensure smooth project delivery from initiation to closeout. You will also support the team during the project procurement process and liaise with Consultants, Clients, and Contractors on project matters. Your role will involve reviewing Civil/MEP Services Design proposals, tender documents, and participating in value engineering exercises. You will independently handle tasks such as Cost Certification, Quality Management, Schedule & Budget Management, and Closeout Management. Identifying and tracking performance, coaching, training needs, and motivating team members will be crucial aspects of your job. You will also be responsible for hiring, terminating, compensating, and evaluating staff members. Your responsibilities will encompass all phases of project management, including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closeout. Key focus areas will include scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management. It is essential that you exhibit a thorough understanding of the company's corporate governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance within your work group. You will oversee contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout, monitoring adherence to internal governance and control policies. Your ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks will be crucial for both client and company success. You will also be responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and complete reports for clients and the company. Maintaining relationships with industry and trade associates, vendors, and professional organizations will be part of your regular duties. Additionally, you should have experience in commercial office buildings, retail, cinema structures, township and villa projects, and industrial projects, with knowledge of MS Projects and the entire project lifecycle of at least two projects.
