Project Head - Underground Metal Mining

As the Project Head for Underground Mining at HZL Underground Mining Sites in Rajasthan, India, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the underground mining project. Your key responsibilities will include project management and execution, operational excellence, safety and compliance, stakeholder management, team leadership and development, financial and resource management, as well as reporting and documentation. You will be required to ensure that project milestones, timelines, and budgetary goals are met by developing and implementing comprehensive project plans and schedules. Additionally, you will drive productivity and efficiency in all mining activities, implement best practices and innovative mining technologies, and champion a "safety-first" culture to ensure strict compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. As the primary point of contact for the client, Hindustan Zinc Limited, you will need to maintain strong professional relationships, coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies, and lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, mine managers, supervisors, and operators to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, a valid First Class Mines Manager's Certificate of Competency, and a minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in mechanized underground metal mining operations. You should also possess exceptional leadership, decision-making, and team management skills, strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, and be adept at problem-solving and handling high-pressure situations effectively.,
