Job Description

Position: Site Engineer (PEB) – 05 Location: Project Site (Pan India based on assignment) Experience Required: 05–10 Years in PEB Projects Department: Projects Industry: Pre-Engineered Buildings / Infrastructure / Construction / Steel Structures Job Purpose: To ensure timely and quality execution of PEB structures at site as per drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The Site Engineer will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver smooth project progress and completion. Key Responsibilities: Site Execution: Supervise and execute erection & installation activities of steel structures (PEB) as per project plan. Ensure erection is done as per approved drawings and quality standards. Coordinate lifting, alignment, bolting, welding, and finishing works. Project Coordination: Coordinate with fabrication and dispatch teams for timely material delivery. Liaison with client engineers, consultants, and contractors on site issues. Arrange for necessary resources like cranes, tools, equipment, and manpower. Quality & Safety Compliance: Monitor erection quality and rectify any deviations or defects. Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure implementation of safety norms. Prepare and maintain site documentation for inspections, approvals, and quality checks. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily site progress reports, manpower records, and material consumption. Submit weekly/monthly reports to Project Head/HO. Handle client inspections and ensure compliance with site audit requirements. Problem Solving: Proactively resolve site issues related to misalignment, material mismatch, or fabrication errors. Communicate site constraints and requirements to planning and engineering teams. Required Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of PEB erection and installation process. Familiarity with erection tools, lifting plans, and structural alignment. Ability to read and interpret fabrication/erection drawings. Good communication and team coordination skills. Strong problem-solving attitude and decision-making capability. Awareness of site safety and statutory compliance norms. Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil / Mechanical Engineering Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in PEB site execution Experience with reputed PEB/Steel construction companies preferred Show more Show less
