Job Description

Responsibilities:

● Manage the day-to-day customer technical support activities related to IT Networking (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wireless), Security Systems (CCTV Systems, Access control systems), Telephony Systems (EPABX, IP PBX, Voice Gateways)

● Attend to scheduled maintenance activities related to planned preventive maintenance of the above mentioned systems as per the schedules submitted to the customer.

● Responsible for installation, administration, configuration and testing of network switches, routers, Firewall, wireless access points, network structured cabling along with other network devices such as CCTV Systems, Access control systems & Telephony Systems.

● Provides response to emergency work requests, as and when corrective maintenance / technical support is required by the customers.

● Assist the Senior Network Engineers / Business Operations Manager with developing, monitoring, and implementing network security procedures for safeguarding all networking systems

● Perform facility surveys for network communications and make recommendations for the layout and location of network components, equipment, cabling, and wiring.

● Assist with developing pricing schemes with vendors for network components, equipment, cabling, and wiring for new implementations or upgrades.

● Maintain records of work completed and in-progress; and updates network documentation to record installations, upgrades, configurations.

● Manage network / system management programs and prepare network / system status reports.

● Assist/Support other network related tasks/requirements as directed by management.

● Available on-call & on-field to assist with trouble tickets as needed

● Manage projects and deliver on time with periodic status reports to management.

Job Requirements:

● Knowledge of design, configuration, installation, testing, and maintenance of local and wide area computer wired and wireless networks (Cisco Systems preferred).

● Knowledge of computer network characteristics, network operating system software, and network components

● Troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose/resolve network system problems.

● Ability to interpret and apply complex technical manuals and reference materials.

● Ability to assist with developing network security and related procedures; and assist with performing network management activities.

● Knowledge about CCTV System, Access Control Systems & Telephony Systems will be an added advantage

● 50% Travel across Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane

Education & Experience:

● Engineering graduates/ Diploma Holders / BSc IT are preferred. Preferred engineering streams are Computer Science, IT, Electronics, EXTC, Instrumentation, Electrical (Streams that may NOT apply: Mechanical, Production, Automobile)

● Any specialized Courses such as Hardware/Networking / CCNA / CCNP or any other brand courses will be an added advantage.

● Ideally 1-2 years experience / Freshers also welcome

Office Location: Thane, near Railway Station

Salary: As per industry standards
