Project Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Civil to support the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise building projects. The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution, technical accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Execution
• Assist in preparing construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Supervise site activities to ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants for design integration.
• Project Coordination
• Support the Project Manager in scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Monitor workmanship and material quality through regular checks and audits.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist in preparing client presentations and project status updates.
• Problem-Solving & Risk Management
• Identify potential technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Support in implementing corrective measures to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in high-rise residential or commercial building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, and finishing works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other project management tools.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with luxury or sustainable high-rise developments.
• Familiarity with advanced construction technologies (e.g., post-tension slabs, precast systems).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
