Project Coordinator (Intern)

About the Role

MapleRecord, a flagship product of Maverick Innogarage Inc., is an emerging Records Management and Information Governance platform designed for Canadian municipalities. We are looking for a Project Coordinator Intern who is eager to learn, organized, and passionate about technology and digital transformation.

This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in project coordination, agile delivery, stakeholder management, and startup operations. You’ll work closely with product, development, and marketing teams to help drive project activities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities across teams.

Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, and progress reports.

Support the Product Manager and Development Team with requirement tracking and sprint planning.

Coordinate meetings, capture action items, and follow up on deliverables.

Help in task prioritization, issue tracking, and status reporting using project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, Trello, or Asana).

Contribute to process improvement initiatives and project governance practices.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with project management tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Ability to work independently in a startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
