Project Control Analyst

As a Project Control Analyst in the APAC region, your role will involve working on projects within the region and collaborating closely with Project Managers and project teams to generate operational and financial metrics for project decision-making. Your responsibilities will include: - Facilitating reviews with project management to ensure an accurate cost estimate at completion is determined. - Managing preparation of internal monthly reports and external client reports, and actively participating in project operations and schedule reviews. - Establishing and documenting project-specific change management procedures and ensuring the project team understands and follows these procedures. - Coordinating and facilitating change order meetings, tracking approved change orders, and ensuring documentation is maintained. - Reading, understanding, and applying project-specific contract terms to identify the full contractual scope of the project. - Participating in project Risk Reviews and communicating risks to the leadership team. - Recognizing and facilitating resolution of budget under/over runs and communicating these to project management. - Coordinating contract budgets across technology centers to ensure alignment. - Generating project operational and financial metrics for Project Management decision-making. - Participating in project reviews for accurate reporting of cost, revenue, and gross margin. - Ensuring work breakdown structure (WBS) compliance, data integrity, accurate reporting, and forecasting within the ERP system. - Providing ad hoc reporting for project and/or senior management using various software tools. - Ensuring accurate tracking of costs to applicable cost centers and compliance with financial/project management policies. Essential skills and abilities for this role include: - Good communication skills to work in an international team. - Ability to evaluate information from various costing data sources for monthly project forecasts. - Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal. - Basic knowledge of risk management and project schedule. - Working knowledge of project controls and ERP tools, preferably SAP. - Understanding of project estimate breakdown, cost accounting structures, and contract requirements. - Ability to recognize and analyze cost spend anomalies. - Basic knowledge of project delivery requirements. Required Education / Experience: - 4-8 years of experience in Project Controls Background, especially in processing equipment project execution. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Experience working in an international environment. - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in a business-related or technical major is an advantage. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly MS Excel. - Working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP software). - Good experience with SAP PS module, MS Projects, BW HANA, Power BI.
