Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Manager Engineering and/or Construction & Commissioning, you will focus on coordinating all engineering activities within the project. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution of engineering disciplines, in compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety & integrity requirements. You will be involved in discipline engineering and design, planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessments, and resource coordination to facilitate project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate Construction and Commissioning processes and activities related to the project scope. - Organize and conduct Kick Off meetings for the C&C Team and prepare initial Plans for Storage Location, Identification, Preservation, and Maintenance. - Identify Construction responsibilities, review scope, budget, and risks & opportunities of the contract, and coordinate handover process from Tendering to Construction. - Drive the review and approval of the constructability strategy and implement it in collaboration with the Site Manager. - Prepare and arrange to take possession of the site, develop site infrastructure plans, and represent the site team in interactions with the home office. - Monitor and report on construction execution, cost, man loading forecast, and planning regularly. Develop mitigation plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. - Participate in functional C&C monthly project reviews, present project status to the Management team, and work on corrective actions if needed. - Ensure proper allocation, management, and coordination of resources. Coordinate subcontracts and manage Non-Budgeted Costs (NBC) for cost reporting. - Provide timely and accurate information to the Project Director and Construction management. Coordinate Construction disciplines for project scope accomplishment. - Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering with relevant work experience. - Must have a work authorization permitting to work for Hitachi Energy. - Previous experience in selling services and winning new business. - Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
