Position Details:

Job Title: Civil Engineer - Billing & Project Execution Expert

Experience Required: Minimum 7 years

Employment Type:

• Initial 6 months: Probation Period
• Post-probation: Permanent Employment (subject to satisfactory performance)

Location: Project Site (Faridabad, Haryana)

Key Requirements:Essential Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in civil construction projects
• Specialized Experience: Proven expertise in working with Government clients/projects (Central/State Government, PSUs, etc.)

Core Competencies Required:

• Civil Billing Expertise:
• Thorough knowledge of civil billing procedures and formats
• Experience with government billing systems (CPWD/PWD norms)
• Preparation and submission of RA Bills
• Understanding of measurement books and billing cycles
• Technical Skills:
• Bar Bending Schedule (BBS): Expert-level preparation and verification
• Rate Analysis and BOQ preparation
• Quantity surveying and estimation
• Understanding of CPWD/DSR specifications
• Project Execution:
• Site execution and coordination
• Quality control and compliance
• Progress monitoring and reporting
• Material planning and management
• Client Management:
• Government client handling experience
• Liaison with Engineer-In-Charge and consultants
• Documentation and compliance management
• Resolving billing and payment queries

Job Responsibilities:Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely RA Bills as per contract terms
• Maintain all billing documentation and records
• Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
• Coordinate with site execution team for measurements
• Handle client communications and resolve queries
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Site execution monitoring and coordination
• Quality assurance and control
• Progress reporting and documentation
• Team coordination and supervision
• Material reconciliation and management

Growth Path:

• Initial Phase (0-6 months): Focus on billing, BBS, and client coordination
• Post-Probation: Gradually increasing responsibilities in project execution
• Long-term: Leadership role with expanded scope and team management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Must Have:

• Strong knowledge of government project billing procedures
• Expertise in civil construction billing items
• Proficiency in BBS preparation
• Excellent communication skills for client handling
• Ability to work independently at site
• Commitment to accuracy and timelines

Good to Have:

• Experience with CPWD/PWD/EPC projects
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project
• Familiarity with GST compliance in construction
• Experience with institutional/commercial building projects

Work Conditions:

• Location: Project site-based (Faridabad)
• Working Days: 6 days per week (as per site requirements)
• Duration: Initially 6 months probation, then permanent
• Project Type: Government institutional building project
