Project Assistant

The Delhi Zonal Centre of CSIR- National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) has recently received two projects related to

1. The survey of industrial areas of Delhi and
2. Design of Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs).

For these projects we have following requirements of the project assistants:

A. We are looking for young dynamic Project Assistants from the Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineers background who are proficient in

1. Survey, field data collections, wastewater samples collection
2. Design of Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs)/ Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) /Water Treatment Plants (WTPs).
3. Design of Process Flow Diagrams.
4. Design of pipelines.
5. Design of electrical requirements.
6. Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) after taking care of civil, mechanical and electrical requirements.
7. Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
8. Preparation of Engineering Drawings in AutoCAD.
9. Preparation of Tender Documents.

B. We are also looking for

1. Survey, field data collections, wastewater samples collection
2. Analysis of water samples (Physio-chemical parameters, biological parameters, heavy metals).
3. Handling sophisticated instruments like ICP, GCMS etc.

Essential Qualifications

1. B.E./B. Tech. in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
2. M.E./M. Tech. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field of civil/mechanical and electrical engineering.
3. M.Sc. Chemistry/Environmental Sciences

Other desirable requirements

• Proficiency with software tools such as MS Office and AutoCAD
• GATE/UGC NET qualified
• Proficiency in Data Collection, Analysis, and Report Preparation
• Project Management and Coordination skills
• Strong Documentation and Presentation skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
