The Project Analyst role at Bristol Myers Squibb involves supporting the Portfolio and PMO governance lead in optimizing the financial management, operational oversight, and strategic insights provided by the GPS IT function to customers. You will be responsible for overseeing the health and performance of GPS IT projects, closely monitoring data, analyzing actuals, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to enhance financial position and operational efficiencies. Your role will also involve collaborating with the Portfolio Governance lead to proactively identify risks and barriers to project goals, monitoring the overall health of the portfolio, and driving initiatives for optimization. Additionally, you will assist in the development of reporting capabilities for GPS IT, providing analytics to support improvements and performance optimization across the function. As a Project Analyst, you will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and developing reporting capabilities to ensure transparent financial management within GPS IT. Your technical expertise, financial analytics, and operational excellence capabilities will be instrumental in driving positive outcomes and data improvements. You will also promote opportunities for operational streamlining and automation while collaborating with Delivery leads on project execution. Responsibilities include measuring and tracking benefits realization, developing and maintaining project management processes and tools, supporting project managers in planning and tracking activities, analyzing project data for accuracy, preparing reports and dashboards for stakeholders, conducting project audits, and identifying actionable results through data analysis. You will also assist in process improvement initiatives, stay updated on industry trends, communicate project risks and issues, and ensure adherence to project management standards. Desired Experience: Qualifications and Experiences: - A bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, Business Administration, Project Management, or computer science is required. - Proven experience as a Project Analyst in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to translate complex data into consumable material. - Proficiency in project management tools and software. - Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies preferred. Skills Desired: - Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Self-motivated with personal integrity and ability to collaborate effectively. - Strong communicator across various media. - Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills for collaboration at all levels of the organization.,
