Job Opening: Operations Manager

Location: Worli, Mumbai

Deepjyoti India Foundation (DIF) is looking for a passionate and committed Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate our core programs across Mumbai, Shillong, and Guwahati. This role is central to ensuring smooth execution, strong community engagement, and alignment with our mission of holistic well-being and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for operations across Mumbai, Shillong, and Guwahati.

Oversee day-to-day program activities, ensuring high-quality implementation and reporting.

Work closely with the Founders Office to design, execute, and evaluate new initiatives.

Build and maintain strong community partnerships, ensuring that programs meet local needs.

Supervise local coordinators and teams to ensure accountability and effective communication.

Monitor program progress and prepare regular reports for donors, partners, and internal teams.

Uphold the foundations values of honesty, transparency, and compassion in all work.

Requirements

Minimum 35 years of experience in NGOs, social impact organizations, or community initiatives.

Strong communication skills: excellent spoken English and Hindi, with professional writing ability.

Proven ability to plan, manage, and evaluate programs across multiple locations.

A deep sense of community connection and commitment to social good.

Demonstrated integrity, responsibility, and a collaborative spirit.

Willingness to travel occasionally between core operation cities.
