Program Director

As a successful Program Director at Fiserv, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating complex projects and initiatives in the Acquiring Space with a deep understanding of technology processes and Merchant Acquiring. You will work within the Global Business Solutions Group, collaborating with some of the largest banks, financial institutions, and other services to launch new services and manage the development and implementation of banking and financial solutions. Your role will involve contributing to building a strong program pipeline in compliance with local regulatory requirements, while ensuring alignment of program objectives and goals with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive program plans, objectives, and deliverables that align with the overall business strategy. You will oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and ensure compliance with project plans. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will define program requirements, priorities, and create end-to-end program and project plans. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and external vendors, will be crucial for effective communication and alignment of program objectives. Providing regular updates and reports on program status, financial performance, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels will also be part of your role. In terms of program execution, you will lead the end-to-end program lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring effective project planning, execution, and monitoring. Coordinating with various teams to track projects to closure, you will identify and manage risks and issues that may impact program timelines, financials, or deliverables. Monitoring program progress and performance against established metrics and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes will be essential. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience of 15+ years as a Program Manager/Director or in a similar role within the Financial Services industry. Strong knowledge of technology platforms, operations processes, and Project Management principles within a technology-driven environment is required. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex programs with multi-disciplinary teams, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels are necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results and achieving program objectives are key. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and an advanced degree is a plus. Team leadership, collaboration, and decisiveness are also important qualities for this role. Having project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM would be preferred and advantageous for this position.,
