Role Overview
As a
Program Development Officer (Education & MSME)
, you will
own, design, and execute programs and products
that connect colleges, students, and MSMEs. This is not a conventional program coordinator role; it is a
product-focused position
where you will ideate, validate, and deploy initiatives that drive measurable outcomes in education and skill-building.You will work directly with the founder and cross-functional teams to
create scalable programs
that solve real gaps in the education and MSME ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Design & Strategy Conceptualize and design end-to-end programs for colleges, students, and MSMEs — including skill development, industry-academia collaboration, and entrepreneurship-focused models.
- Pilot & Deployment Plan and deploy pilot programs in colleges/universities and MSME clusters, tracking adoption, execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Productization of Programs Convert programs into scalable, repeatable products (toolkits, playbooks, digital modules, dashboards) that can be deployed across multiple institutions and businesses.
- Stakeholder Management Build and manage partnerships with colleges, MSMEs, industry mentors, and government/NGO bodies to drive adoption and impact.
- Outcome Measurement Define KPIs for each program, measure student engagement, MSME adoption, and institutional value, and iterate for better results.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work with data, tech, and operations teams to integrate insights, dashboards, and reporting into the programs.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong background in education, business strategy, or program/product management.
- Exposure to edtech, skilling, MSME development, or academic-industry programs.
- Ability to think like a product owner — designing scalable, outcome-oriented solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder and partnership management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in early-stage startup environment.
- Passion for education, skilling, and MSME empowerment.
Compensation
- Equity-only role (no cash compensation until funding).
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week, flexible.
