Production Supervisor

As a Production Manager in a Welding/Fabrication Factory for a leading welding electrode manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia, your main role will be overseeing daily production activities, managing production schedules, ensuring compliance with production plans, and maintaining an efficient workflow. You will also be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring quality control, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with other departments to achieve production targets. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Production Planning & Control:** Oversee daily production activities to meet targets and maintain quality standards. - **Operations Management:** Lead end-to-end operations for timely and cost-effective delivery. - **Quality Assurance:** Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain high-quality standards. - **Team Leadership:** Manage, train, and mentor production teams to enhance productivity and safety adherence. - **Inventory & Supply Chain Management:** Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure raw materials availability. - **Process Improvement:** Identify operational areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage. - **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to local labor laws, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards. - **Budget Management:** Plan and control budgets, optimize costs, and monitor financial performance. - **Reporting:** Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and key metrics to upper management. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. - **Experience:** 7 to 12 years in welding electrode manufacturing or relevant fields with experience in managing large-scale production. - **Technical Skills:** Proficient in production planning, process optimization, inventory management, and quality control. Experience with production software and ERP systems. - **Leadership Skills:** Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. - **Analytical Skills:** Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex production issues. - **Compliance Knowledge:** Good understanding of industry standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
