Position-Production Manager (From Food industry Background) Company Name- Evexia Nutrition Pvt Ltd., Bangalore (Manufacturer of Nutraceutical, Health supplements, Infant cereal, Non-Dairy creamer) Job Description Overseeing and supervising production operations for a food manufacturing organization. Leading production operations, coordinating production staff and equipment, and ensuring the quality and profitability of products. Preparing procedures and work instructions for production department and training the food handlers for correct GMP practices. Responsibility for determining the best and most efficient uses of the available resources, including equipment and labour, to meet production goals. Training the workforce on Food safety requirements, Managing and motivating the staffs, monitoring them to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements. Monitoring the progress of production, confirming that it stays on schedule and within budget. Monitoring and maintaining product and process quality requirements, implementing corrective and preventive action for any kind of non-conformities. Meeting regularly with production teams and managers to analyze any problems and ensure cost-effective, high quality and timely delivery of products. Must always be on the lookout for problems hampering effectiveness. They are expected to develop new and cost effective ways to improve quality and productivity. This could include developing new ways of manufacturing, improving existing manufacturing processes, providing additional training or adopting better manufacturing processes. Enforcing Environmental safety and food safety requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE B.E/B.TECH/MTech/Msc At least 10-15 years of work experience in independently handling production activities in a Food industry. Relevant experience(experience in nutraceutical/health supplements/Infant cereal will be preferred. Possessing technical knowledge and be adapting at all phases of the manufacturing processes. Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement. Experience in directing and supervising production workers. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of human relations skills, principles and team building processes. Able to work a flexible schedule. Should have basic awareness on current and future trends in manufacturing.. Should have basic knowledge on FSSC, ISO, HACCP, BRC, BIS & FSSAI requirements. Strong reporting skills. Solid skills to document information in a legible manner and communicate effectively.

Statutory Compliances knowledge Employee Database Management, Issuance of Various Letters, Leaves & Attendance Management, Payroll, EPF-ESIC & Legal Compliance. Performance Review & Management, Trainings & Development activities, Employee Engagement Activities, CSR, Generalist role Handling End to End Recruitment. Facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions collaborates with departmental Heads to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Identify future staffing needs. Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications. Help in formulating personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management. Creating Training calendar, schedule and co-ordinate with the Trainer and Trainees from time to time and perform Training evaluation and effectiveness. Taking charge of employees personal hygiene, covid protocols, medical fitness activities as per the FSSAI guidance. Taking charge of Pest Control related Activities inside factory premises. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE MBA / PGD / Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 1-2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb computer literacy and exposure to related HR software. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to Work comfortably under pressure, meets tight deadlines, manage competing priorities and keep up with a high volume of activity. The ability to work quickly, flexibly, effectively, and positively in response to requests made at short notice. Good organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail. Basic knowledge/understanding of HR functions, HR best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources, talent management, Labour Law, and employment regulations will be an advantage.
