Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities at Farmer First, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of production targets. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a production team effectively while maintaining safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production operations in the framing/assembly unit.

Ensure production schedules are met with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.

Maintain production records, prepare daily reports, and track key metrics (output, waste, downtime).

Identify process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery/equipment is in good working condition.

Enforce safety guidelines, conduct regular safety checks, and promote a safe working environment.

Communicate production issues, challenges, and achievements to management.

Manage raw material usage and coordinate with stores/warehouse for timely supply.

Qualifications & Skills

Any Degree

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge of production planning, quality standards, and lean manufacturing practices.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.
