DesignationProduction Planning Engineer Onsite Opportunity Job description Roles and Responsibilities : - Organize production work flow by learning from team manager. - Ensure clarity in production to improve efficiency and avoid wastage / rejection. - Receive and study the fabrication drawings. - Convey, discuss & clarify doubt if any with the fabrication vendors about drawings. - Oversee / verify activity of shipment of raw material to chosen vendor. - Adhere to production bar chart & ensure that stage inspection during production as per QAP including third party inspection. - Supervise and ensure packing of finished goods for dispatch. Work flow management : - Receive production drawing, study the process sequence, to assign multiple vendors for different activities. - Setup meetings between design team and vendors at their location to clarify their doubt if any. - Align work flow with production bar chart. QAP management : - Study QAP & Ensure its implementation through close co-ordination with QC department - Update bar chart and present the to team manager. - Report delay / issues, to team manager and solve / rectify the same on time bound basis. Vendor management : - Convey production process requirement to vendors and ensure that they understand the importance of principle of do it right at first. - Maintain a win-win relationship with vendors and help them improve production efficiency through time and motion study. - Supervise arrangement of packing of finished goods at label them with packing list for dispatch. Keep track of dispatches per month and report the same to team manager. - Attend internal meetings to address / discuss production issues if any. Present improvements. Measurement Metrics : - Timely delivery as per schedule. - Vendor management and training to align with our quality policy. - Improvement brought in production process by time study. - Effective Communication and people handling ability.
