Job Description

  • Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecast and order priorities.
  • Maintain a rolling 4-month stock planning cycle based on production forecasts and seasonal demands.
  • Align raw material and packaging availability with production timelines.
  • Coordinate with sales, purchase, and store departments for seamless execution of plans.

  • Control & Monitoring:
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Identify bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues and take corrective action promptly.
  • Ensure production output matches required specifications and quality standards.
  • Inventory & Material Coordination:
  • Set and maintain product-wise minimum stock levels to avoid production or sales delays.
  • Work closely with inventory and store teams to maintain material availability.
  • Minimize overproduction and reduce wastage through accurate forecasting.
  • Maintain minimum stock level alerts for critical raw materials.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain daily production records, shift reports, and downtime logs.
  • Generate reports on output vs target, raw material consumption, and rejection analysis.
  • Use ERP/software to update planning and production data in real time.
  • Coordination & Communication:
  • Act as a bridge between production, quality control, stores, and dispatch teams.
  • Ensure timely communication of plan changes or priorities to floor supervisors.
  • Conduct regular meetings with production teams to track progress and resolve issues.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of production planning and control systems (PPC).
  • Familiarity with ERP or production software.
  • Understanding of raw materials, processes, and notebook manufacturing flow.
  • Analytical thinking and time management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, and good documentation skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering or any related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in a similar role in stationery, notebook, or printing industry preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
