Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning

• Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales and operational requirements.
• Forecast raw material, packaging, and manpower requirements.
• Monitor capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks and optimize throughput.

2. Material Planning & Coordination

• Share detailed material requirements with procurement teams.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely supply of raw and packaging materials.
• Track material lead times and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) availability.

3. Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure storage compliance with food safety standards.

4. Production Control

• Track production progress and ensure schedule adherence.
• Identify deviations, delays, and initiate corrective measures.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

5. MIS Reporting & Analytics

• Generate accurate MIS reports and dashboards using ERP systems.
• Analyze plant performance metrics (efficiency, delivery, inventory turnover).
• Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to streamline reporting processes.

6. Resource Management & Process Improvement

• Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO).

Skills & Competencies

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Experience:

  35 years in production planning, inventory/material management, and ERP-based reporting, preferably in the

  food manufacturing industry

  .

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Advanced MS Excel; data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and inventory control.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO).
