Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Control

Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on sales orders and forecasts.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure production meets the company’s quality standards.
Implement strict quality control measures at each stage of manufacturing.
Address recurring defects and coordinate with QC for root-cause analysis and preventive actions.

Team Management

Supervise, train, and motivate supervisors, operators, and workers.
Allocate tasks, monitor attendance, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
Drive a culture of safety, responsibility, and accountability.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

Identify areas of waste and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Reduce production cycle time and increase output efficiency.
Ensure preventive maintenance and proper care of machines.

Inventory & Cost Control

Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with the stores and purchase team for raw material availability.
Track production costs and ensure operations within budget.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with sales, purchase, and logistics for smooth order execution.
Maintain and analyze production records, MIS reports, and performance KPIs.
Report daily production status, challenges, and improvements to management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.82 - ₹45,000.51 per month
