The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. They will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet business targets/needs.
· Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials for production purpose.
· Monitor production, production standards/quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, GMP, GHP).
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to enhance productivity.
· Maintain accurate production records and generate MIS reports for management review.
· Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Supply Chain teams for smooth operations.
· Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and machine downtime.
· Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms, EHS standards, and company policies.
· Conduct regular safety checks and promote a safe, hygienic, and disciplined work environment.
· Supervise, guide and train production staff, when necessary.
· Support management in audits, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiative
· Education: B.Tech /B.Sc in Food Technology / Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or relevant field).
· Experience: Minimum 5 years in FMCG production/manufacturing with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
· Experience in handling shop-floor workforce preferred.
