Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage the production processes of our Temperature & Pressure Gauges Division., ensuring high-quality standards, adherence to timelines, and continuous process improvements while coordinating with design, quality, and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise, and monitor the production activities in the gauges department.
Ensure timely manufacturing of gauges as per customer requirements and project schedules.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards for gauge manufacturing.
Monitor and control production costs, minimize wastage, and improve efficiency.
Coordinate with the design and quality team for new gauge development and inspection requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.) and internal quality norms.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production issues.
Supervise machine operations, calibration, and tool maintenance related to gauges.
Prepare production reports, documentation, and maintain records for audits.
Drive process improvements and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Train and guide shop-floor operators and technicians to enhance skills and productivity.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of gauge manufacturing processes (plug gauges, ring gauges, snap gauges, etc.).
Familiarity with CNC/lathe/precision machining for gauges.
Proficiency in production planning and process optimization.
Knowledge of ISO standards and calibration requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.

Qualification & Experience

B.tech / BE In Mechanical / Production/ Industrial Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in gauges, precision instruments, or related manufacturing industries.
Hands On experience in machining, tool design, and measurement instruments.
