Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operations Management:

Oversee the daily manufacturing operations of Power cables.
Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery.
Optimize processes for cost efficiency, including raw material utilization, machine downtime, and labor costs.
Implement best practices for continuous improvement in production, reducing waste, and improving overall productivity.

Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and quality.
Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and develop the team through coaching and training.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and customer specifications.
Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure the highest levels of product quality.
Drive root cause analysis for any quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Maintenance & Asset Management:

Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Ensure optimal uptime of machinery and production lines through effective asset management strategies.
Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for timely procurement of machine parts.
