Job Title: Production/ Floor Supervisor – Mechanical

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Job Location: Bhateri, Morinda–Chunni Road, Bassi Pathanan – 140412, Punjab

Salary Range: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,391.02 per month

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor to meet production schedules.
• Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are operated efficiently and maintained as per standards.
• Monitor and control process parameters to achieve desired output, quality, and productivity.
• Allocate manpower effectively and ensure adherence to work instructions and SOPs.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
• Track daily production output, downtime, and rejection rates; prepare and submit reports.
• Train and guide shop floor operators/technicians for skill enhancement and process discipline.
• Ensure optimum utilization of raw material, minimize wastage, and drive cost-control initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement programs such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and TPM.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machining, assembly, and plant equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong focus on quality, productivity, and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 2-3years of experience in production supervision
• Hands-on experience in handling shop floor operations, manpower management, and process control.
• Exposure to ISO standards and audits will be an added advantage.
