Production Engineer / Supervisor

Job Title: Production Engineer / Supervisor – LSR & Rubber Molding
Department: Production
Location: Manufacturing Plant – Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli)
Reports To: Department Head / Plant Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) / Rubber Molding operations at our Silvassa unit. The role requires strong technical expertise in molding processes, quality assurance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Process Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of rubber & silicone molding (LSR, HCR, Thermoset Rubber).

Process Optimization

• Collaborate with R&D/QA for new product trials and validations.
• Drive improvements using Lean / Six Sigma practices.

Quality & Customer Requirements

• Handle deviations, complaints, and CAPA documentation.
• Assist in PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan preparation.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Monitor molding machines (Arburg, Engel, Maplan, Desma, etc.).
• Troubleshoot molding defects (flash, short shots, surface issues).

Material & Tool Handling

• Work with peroxide/platinum-cured silicone & rubber compounds.
• Ensure safe handling, mixing, and mold maintenance.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote 5S, EHS standards, and audit readiness (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001).

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain production, rejection, downtime, and MIS reports.
• Support ERP/SAP-based reporting for inventory & KPI tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Polymer, Rubber Technology, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in LSR, HCR, or EPDM molding.
• Strong knowledge of rubber curing behavior, mold setup, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ISO, IATF, PPAP, and quality tools.
